We are The ZONTA CLUB of COLUMBUS.
We are the local chapter of one of the largest women's service organizations in the world. Our mission is simple, "To empower women locally, nationally, and internationally through service and advocacy."
Zonta envisions a world in which women's rights are recognized as human rights and every woman
is able to achieve her full potential. In such a world, women have access to all resources and are represented
in decision making positions on an equal basis with men. In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence.
Every month, Columbus Zontians gather together to meet and be inspired. All Members have a standing reservation for all meetings. Visit our event page to see what we have planned for the year. All Members are encouraged to bring guests!
Working with the following organizations, The Zonta Club of Columbus positively affects the lives
of women in our community.
"The Zonta Club of Columbus has been an amazing supporter of Amethyst - and because of it, many of our women and families are living successfully, leading productive and self-sufficient lives."

ZONTA Celebrates 100 Years of Service
One hundred years ago, a small group of pioneering women came together in Buffalo, New York with a vision to help all women realize greater equality while using their individual and collective expertise in service to their community.
Their vision became Zonta International, an organization that has grown to more than 29,000 members in 63 countries, working together to make gender equality a reality for women and girls worldwide.
8 November 2019 marks Zonta’s centennial anniversary. Join us in our celebrations throughout the centennial biennium, beginning at our 2018 International Convention in Yokohama, Japan and ending with our 2020 International Convention in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
