Zonta Columbus has started a new partnership with Habitat for Humanity's - Women Build
Though our neighborhoods are comprised largely of women and children, they are also the population’s most likely to be affected by poor living conditions. Women Build provides the opportunity for women to take a proactive step in serving their communities.
Volunteers work under the guidance of construction professionals, and also alongside other volunteers and future Habitat homeowners, no prior experience is necessary. Women helping women sends a positive and powerful message.
Zonta is excited about our wonderful new hands-on partnership with Women Build through Habitat for Humanity. The house we are working on is for a young woman and her two beautiful little girls. We're thrilled to put our carpentry skills to use for this noble purpose and partnership. Check out our photos below.
