In the Zonta Club of Columbus service projects are tailored to promote the status of women locally. Currently, Outstanding Young Women in central Ohio's high schools are recognized, financial support is provided to the Joint Organization of Inner-City Needs, and assistance is offered to Amethyst, Inc.
To provide service and financial support, each club has a fundraising responsibility. In the Zonta Club of Columbus, the current membership of 50 supports an annual Luncheon, Style Show, and Silent Auction. At the 2011 event over $16,000 was raised.
In the Zonta Club of Columbus we enjoy fellowship and working together. There is a zeal to our style, and a tenacious commitment to the mission of advancing the status of women through service and advocacy.
